International Pop Singer and Grammy nominee, “Burna Boy” has been nominated alongside fast rising Singer, Rema for the prestigious 2020 MTV EMA, in the Best African Act category.
Burna Boy who won the award in 2019, and “Rema” were nominated with fellow other African Superstars such as Sheebah, Master KG, Kabza de Small and DJ Maphorisa, and Gaz Mawete.
Burna who disclosed this on his social media handle yesterday said, “A big thank you to my MTV family for nominating me again for this award and to my fans all over the world for listening to and supporting my music.“
MTV EMAs Senior Vice President after the announcement said: “MTV EMAs is one of the biggest entertainment stages in the world and this year’s African nominees are undoubtedly making their presence felt globally.
