Nigeria singer and Grammy nominee Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu, popularly known as Burna Boy has reached out to the people of his hometown, Egboama Ogbolo in Rivers state. The singer donated foodstuffs to over 300 families in his community in order to cushion the effect of Covid-19 on the residents.

The singer who partnered with Reach NG for the kind gesture made this known today on his official Twitter handle. He said  “Reaching out and Feeding over 300 families in Egboama Ogbolo (my hometown) and Mbiama , Rivers state today in Partnership @TheREACHNG. Also special thanks To everyone that helped on the project today. Every little helps.”

The singer who was recently bashed by Instagram users for declaring himself the greatest African artist, has since been commended for the kind gesture.

Burna Boy whose next studio album is set for release in July,  recently handed over his social media accounts to his management after he made degrading remarks about Nigerians.
