The Ruling All Progressives Congress, has threatened to sanction members who drag the party to court.
Caretaker Secretary of the party, John Akpanudoedehe said this in a statement in Abuja, while reacting to the ruling of a Court in Delta State, that sacked the party’s caretaker leadership.
He noted that nothing would distract the party from going ahead with its planned congresses, as they are on ground to conduct a free, fair and credible exercise across the nation.
John, also cautioned committee members against allowing politicians hijack the process in their states.
Meanwhile, Caretaker chairman of the party and Governor of Yobe State, Mai Mala Buni has said that the court ruling from Delta state, is not binding on him.
He said only mischief makers were misinterpreting the order as it was directed at the Delta state Caretaker Chairman and not him, Buni.
He made this known through his Director General Press and Media Affairs, Mamman Mohammed in Abuja.
