The All Progressives Congress has, cautioned the Director of Adoration Ministry, Rev. Fr Ejike Mbaka to stop making statements capable of causing instability in the country.
Fr Mbaka, had in a series of messages in Enugu, criticized the Buhari-led Federal Government over insecurity in the nation, while calling on the National Assembly to impeach him, if he fails to resign.
Publicity Secretary of the APC, Yekini Nabena in a statement on Friday, cautioned Mbaka to stop speaking like politicians and concentrate on his spiritual calling.
He said it is obvious that Rev. Mbaka has been wining and dining with politicians, advising him to leave a political message for politicians, if he has found another political ally.
Nabena threatened to expose the outspoken cleric to the pope and the Vatican, if he continues to make such statements.
“It was unfortunate for a man of God who is supposed to deploy all known spiritual means of averting crisis but rather threatening a democratically elected government for his own personal benefits while pretending to be speaking for the people,” he said.
Nabena also said calling for the president’s resignation is ungodly and that the cleric, should emulate Christ who did not threaten to bring down the government during his time.
