Seven persons have been nominated for appointment as ministers by President Muhammadu Buhari to replace those who had earlier retired to contest various elective positions
This was made known after the President’s letter was read on the floor of the Senate.
The nominees include:
- a Okon Umana (Akwa Ibom)
- Henry Ikechukwu Iko (Abia)
- Adewole Adegoroye (Ondo)
- Odum Udi (Rivers)
- Goodluck Nnana Opia (Imo)
- Umar Ibrahim El-Yakub (Kano)
- Joseph Ukama (Ebonyi)
