President Muhammadu Buhari of Nigeria has reiterated that his administration is determined to ending the crises rocking the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC). The management of the commission have been entangled in massive financial fraud over the years.
The President who made this known in a tweet via his Twitter handle yesterday, called on the National Assembly and other agencies investigating the mismanagement of billions of Naira at the NDDC to work collaboratively in ensuring transparency and accountability.
The president had sometime last year ordered a forensic audit of the operations of the NDDC from 2001 to 2019, due to large mismanagement of funds allocated to the commission over the years.
