President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the appointment of Prof. Stephen Agochi Okodudu as the Acting Vice Chancellor of University of Port Harcourt (UNIPORT), for a period of six months.
This was contained in a statement signed by the Minister of Education Adamu Adamu. Agochi Okodudu takes over from Deputy Vice Chancellor, Prof. Regina Agali who has been acting as the VC since the tenure expiration of former VC, Ndowa Lale.
Prof. Agochi who is expected to resume office on Monday, until his appointment, was of the Department of Sociology, Faculty of Social Sciences of the institution.
