Chairman of the Rivers State Civil Society Organization, RIVCSO, Enefaa Georgewill says some persons have been arrested in connection with the violence that disrupted a carnival in Buguma while singer, Teni was performing.
Enefaa in a statement today, said he confirmed the arrest from the state commissioner of Police, Eboka Friday.
He stated that the CP also confirmed that the main culprit escaped.
Georgewill, called on the Police and the Asari-Toru local government council to declare him wanted and ensure that he is arrested.
“RIVCSO Just Confirmed 4rm The CP That D Main Culprit Escaped But Others Were Arrested. D Police & LGA Shld Declare Him Wanted Now!,” he said.
