The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, is set to hold his end-of-year media chat on Monday, December 29, at his residence in Port Harcourt.
Sources disclosed that the former Rivers State governor is expected to address key national and political issues during the interaction with journalists. Top on the agenda is an assessment of his stewardship of the FCT, including ongoing reforms and projects under his administration.
Wike is also expected to speak on recent political developments in Rivers State, particularly the defection of Governor Siminalayi Fubara, as well as respond to comments made by Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde on national and party matters.
The media chat is anticipated to generate significant public interest, given Wike’s outspoken style and his central role in recent political debates within the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the broader national political landscape.
