Social media was awash in the early hours of this morning with reports that the former Managing Director of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Joy Nunieh’s house was surrounded by the police.
Joy Nunieh is scheduled to testify before the House of Representatives panel investigating the NDDC. The presence of the police at her residence indicates that the former MD may not be able to make it to the airport today as planned.
Nunieh has recently accused Godswill Akpabio, the Minister of the Niger Delta Ministry of sexual abuse, a claim the minister has refuted.
