A vehicle carrying an expatriate on Monday plunged into the Eleme River in Rivers State.
According to sources, the vehicle and its occupants may still be submerged. Recovery efforts to locate the expatriate are ongoing, with professional divers and marine police working at the scene.
The Commissioner of Police in Rivers State, Olugbenga Adepoju, is currently at the scene overseeing the rescue efforts.
