President Bola Tinubu on Tuesday presented a ₦1.78 trillion budget proposal for the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) to the National Assembly.
The proposal, delivered through a letter read by House Speaker Tajudeen Abbas on the floor of the Green Chamber, seeks urgent legislative approval to accelerate key development efforts in Abuja.
According to the breakdown, 85% of the budget is earmarked for the completion of ongoing infrastructure and development projects, while the remaining 15% will finance new initiatives.
