The Rivers State Independent Electoral Commission, RSIEC, has denied trending report of the resignation of its Chairman, Retired Justice, Adolphus Enebeli.
RSIEC, Commissioner of Civic Education, Tamunotonye Tobins in a statement on Friday, described the report as untrue.
He also described the report as propaganda by those opposed to Saturday’s Local Government Elections.
This comes hours after Rouge Police Officers attempted to takeover the RSIEC office in Port Harcourt.
