Port Harcourt – The Sole Administrator of Rivers State, Ibok-Ete Ibas, has ordered the immediate suspension of all political office holders and appointees in the state.
Among those affected by the directive are the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Chief of Staff Edison Ehie, all commissioners, and the leadership of various state boards, agencies, commissions, and institutions. The suspension also extends to all special advisers, special assistants, and senior special assistants.
The decision marks a significant shake-up in the state’s political landscape, with further details expected to emerge in the coming days.
