The 10 remaining members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the Rivers State House of Assembly have appointed Hon. Sylvanus Nwankwo, representing Omuma Constituency, as the new Minority Leader.
Nwankwo was sworn in on Thursday alongside three other minority principal officers: Dominic Iderima, Justina Emeji and Barile Wako.
Their appointment marks a reorganisation of the minority leadership structure within the Assembly as the lawmakers move to strengthen their internal coordination.
