The House of Representatives Committee on Public Petitions has issued a warrant of arrest on the Accountant General of the Federation, Mrs Oluwatoyin Madein, Central Bank Governor, Mr Olayemi Cardoso and 17 others for refusing to appear before it to answer questions on their operations.
Chairman of the Committee, Rep Micheal Irom (APC-Cross River), in his ruling urged the Inspector General of Police to ensure the affected persons were brought before the committee on December 14.
The committee said the arrest warrant had become inevitable following the failure of the invitees to honor invitations.
