Security operatives have taken over the Rivers State House of Assembly complex as no vehicular and human movement were allowed close to the complex.
This is as twenty-five lawmakers of the House led by the Speaker, Hon. Martin Amaewhule held a sitting at the Assembly Complex, this morning.
We gathered that the lawmakers successfully deliberated on two items concerning the suspension of the strike by the Parliamentary Staff Association of Nigeria, PASAN.
The lawmakers also urged the Police to prosecute the burning of the Assembly Complex few weeks ago.
