The Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, Trade Union Congress, TUC and their affiliates have resolved to commence the planned nationwide strike from midnight today, November 13 2023.
The strike according to the organized labour is to protest the alleged assault of the NLC President – Joe Ajaero in Owerri, Imo State on November 1, as well as the pending labour issues in Imo State.
They had on November 7, resolved to declare a nationwide strike by Tuesday, November 14, if their demands were not met.
