The executive chairman of Okrika LGA, Hon Akuro Tobins has sacked all political appointees serving in his administration with immediate effect.
Those affected include; all Supervisors, Special Advisers, Advisers, Senior Special Assistants, Special Assistants and Social Media aides.
No reason regarding the sack was given in the press statement signed by the Council Secretary, Oforiokuma Kwani, on behalf of the chairman.
The statement directs all affected appointees to submit council properties in their possession to the Secretary, as the chairman wishes them well in all their future endeavours.
