The council election of the Rivers State chapter of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, (NUJ), has reportedly been suspended.
The announcement was made this morning and reasons for the suspension is yet to be known.
The election was scheduled to hold today, at the Ernest Ikoli Press Centre, Moscow Road, Port Harcourt.
