The Rivers State Monkey pox Vaccination Officer, Joseph Urang says the vaccine is now available in the State.
Mr Joseph, who made this known in a statement on Tuesday, said the vaccination campaign will begin from December, 2nd to 5th and December 9th to 13th 2024.
He revealed that the vaccination sites are the Rivers State University Teaching Hospital, University of Port Harcourt Teaching Hospital and the Rivers State Primary Healthcare Management Board.
As you may know on August 27, the United States government, through the United States Agency for International Development donated 10,000 doses of the Mpox vaccine to the Federal Government to support its efforts in responding to the current outbreak.
