Barcelona legend, Lionel Messi has declared Real Madrid as the best team in the world, days after winning their 15th Champions League trophy.
When asked to name the best team in the world during an interview on Argentina TV, Messi said, “Real Madrid is the best team in the world, they have won the Champions League. If you go by results, Real Madrid is the best.”
“If you go by level of the game, I think Manchester City are the best.”
He added: “I personally like Guardiola’s City. I think that any team where Guardiola is will be special because of the way he is, the way he trains and the way he works.“
