The Lagos State Government has sealed the Alaba International Market over poor waste disposal practices.
The state Commissioner for Environment and Water Resources, Mr Tokunbo Wahab, made this known in a statement on X.
He said the market was also sealed over failure of traders to pay waste bills.
“Alaba International Market, Ojo has been sealed up for poor waste disposal practices, failure to pay their waste bills and gross environmental sanitation offence,” he said.
