The organized labour says it’s indefinite strike action was not suspended but relaxed to give room for negotiation.
NLC President, Joe Ajaero disclosed this in a statement after a meeting with representatives of the government on Tuesday.
According to him, they agreed to relax the strike because the Federal Government assured them that they are committed to moving beyond the proposed N60,000.
“We didn’t suspend the strike but relaxed it for one Week…”We agreed to relax the strike Because Federal Government told us in yesterday’s meeting that they are committed to moving beyond N60,000 as minimum wage,” he saidm
