Ace comedian, KO-Baba says his annual ritual tagged “MAYOR OF PITAKWA” will hold on April 1st 2024, at one of the biggest event centres in the city of Port Harcourt, EUI Event Centre, Sani Abacha Road in GRA Phase 1. Making him the first comedian to host an event at the massive edifice.
The comedian, known for his clean and classy style of comedy in a press briefing Today in Port Harcourt, said the event has the Mayor of Housing and Budweiser as major sponsors.
According to him, top comedians such as Gordons, Mr Paul, Titus of Flatmates, Last Prophet, Passion, Mudiaga, GSN and Akpan Okon to mention a few will perform at the event regarded as one of the biggest comedy events in Nigeria.
He said publicity for this year’s event is second to none, as publicity will be carried out in four states which includes, Abia, Imo, Bayelsa and Akwa Ibom making the event one of the most publicised events in the country. This is in addition to the massive publicity ongoing in Port Harcourt the host city.
KO, who is regarded as one of the most creative and spontaneous entertainers in the country has pegged this year’s regular ticket at N7000, VIP 20,000, Executive Access 100,000, Executive table N1M and Premium table N2M.
He revealed that this year’s event will have two tables on stage known as the “presidential tables” which will sell for N5,000,000, adding that the treatment the guests will receive would be worth the price tag just like the other tables at the event.
He added that logistics have been put in place for guests who will be coming into the country for the event to ensure they enjoy their day with the MAYOR.
He assured attendees of getting real value in return for their money as he always does in his events.
With the massive publicity, sponsorship, revenue, venue, performing acts and professionals involved in the event, it is not out of place to say MAYOR of PITAKWA is one of the biggest events in Nigeria.
