Six persons have been reportedly killed in Abarikpo and Odiereke communities in Ahoada West local government area of Rivers state.
Public Relations Officer of Akoh Youth Congress in the LGA, Hector Chimem confirmed the incident in a statement.
“…in Abarikpo community at about five minutes after 4:00, early this morning some group of cult boys who reside at neighboring community, came to Abarikpo community and went in search of about three persons,” he said.
“Unluckily, one Aburi Dickson Edi was found in his house sleeping .They batched into his house, shot him in his stomach and his intestine opened. They took bike down to their Hideout.
“Secondly, in Odiereke Ubie community, ward 9 Ahoada West LGA, precisely, five Youth were killed yesterday (Tuesday) because the community refused paying One Million naira to the hoodlums living inside the bush,” he added.
The Police is yet to react to the incident.
