The Governor of Rivers State, Barrister Nyesom Wike has as a result of pockets of violence in some areas of the state, imposed a 24-hour curfew on the following areas of Port Harcourt from 6:30 PM today 21st of October, 2020.
Mile 1 , Mile 2 , Oil Mill, Emenike, Ikokwu , Iloaubuchi And the entire Oyigbo LGA.
Residents of other parts of the state are adviced to stay calm and safe while going about their normal businesses.
