The Court of Appeal sitting in Lagos State has dismissed the appeal brought before it by the Rivers APC candidate in the Rivers state governorship election – Tonye Cole challenging the Tribunal Judgement which earlier upheld the electoral victory of Governor, Siminialayi Fubara of the PDP.
The court dismissed Cole’s Appeal in its ruling Today.
However, the issue of withdrawal of the APC from the matter which was used by the Tribunal to deliver its judgement was reversed at the Appeal Court in favour of Tonye Cole.
We gathered that Tonye Cole is set to challenge the ruling at the Apex Court.
