Rivers state governor, Sim. Fubara has approved the immediate payment of N30,000 minimum wage for all local government staff in Rivers State.
The governor made the approval after a meeting with Acting Chairman of The Local Government Service Commission, GoodLife Ben and other stakeholders at Government House Port Harcourt.
He also ordered the immediate payment of all withheld allowances, gratuities, promotion of all that are due and all accrued benefits.
