Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Fintiri, has defected to the ruling All Progressives Congress.
Fintiri made the announcement in astatewide broadcast on Friday, revealing that he decamped alongside his entire cabinet and officials of the Peoples Democratic Party in the state.
According to the governor, the decision was taken in the developmental interest of Adamawa State, adding that the move would enhance growth and accelerate progress for the people.
