At least five people reported to be students of the University of Port Harcourt (UNIPORT) have lost their lives in a tragic road accident that occurred on Monday morning in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
The incident happened along the Eliozu–Rumuokoro Road when a shuttle bus conveying the students reportedly rammed into a stationary trailer.
Authorities are yet to release the identities of the victims, while emergency responders have evacuated the scene. An investigation into the cause of the accident is underway.
