Fire has gutted the international wing of the Murtala Muhammed Airport, Lagos State, with the primary gateway section of the airport being affected.
The incident occured this morning and its cause is yet to be ascertained.
Sources say firefighters have been swiftly mobilised to contain the fire while passengers and airport personnel have been evacuated from the affected building. Meanwhile, the incident has affected some operations.
