An explosion rocked the Secretariat of the Action Peoples Party in Port Harcourt on Monday.
Reacting to the incident, National Chairman of the party, Uchenna Nnadi said the action was to undermine the administration of Gov. Sim Fubara and also prevent the forthcoming local government elections from holding.
According to him, the party is ready for the elections, and will not be deterred from welcoming new members.
He called on security agencies to ensure that perpetrators of the crime are brought to book.
