Senator Okey Ezea, who represented Enugu North Senatorial District in the National Assembly, has died.
Ezea, elected on the platform of the Labour Party and the only remaining LP lawmaker from Enugu State at the federal level, reportedly passed away on Tuesday in the United Kingdom where he was receiving medical treatment, according to findings by Daily Post.
His death was first disclosed by popular on-air media personality, ‘Senator’ Chijinkem Ugwuanyi, who announced the development in a Facebook post.
“Sad News. Senator Okey Ezea, representing Enugu North, is dead… Rest in Peace,” he wrote.
