Former Director General of the Labour party’s presidential campaign council, Doyin Okupe has been arrested by the Department of State Security.
Spokesperson of the DSS, Peter Afunnaya disclosed this in a statement Today.
He said Okupe was arrested at the Murtala Muhammed airport in Lagos.
One of Okupe’s lawyers, Tolu Babaleye, also confirmed his arrest on his Facebook page.
According to him, Okupe was on his way to London.
He claimed that the DSS asked him to provide court processes where he paid the fine option following his money laundering conviction by the Federal High Court, Abuja
