A suit seeking to disqualify SIM Fubara, governorship candidate of the People’s Democratic Party in Rivers State from contesting the 2023 election has been dismissed by a Federal high court sitting in Port Harcourt.
Chief, Morgan West an aspirant in the just concluded guber primary of the party filed the suit challenging the emergence of Fubara as the party’s flagbearer.
He prayed the court to stop Fubara from parading himself as the party’s flagbearer as he was not a member of the party and did not have a valid PDP membership card.
Justice Adamu T. Mohammed, the presiding judge in his ruling Today, struck out the suit for lack of jurisdiction and incompetence.
