The Federal High Court sitting in Ibadan has nullified the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) National Convention held in Ibadan, Oyo State, on November 15, 2025.
In its ruling, the court restrained members of the National Working Committee (NWC) led by Tanimu Turaki from presenting themselves as national officers of the party.
The court further affirmed that the Caretaker Committee headed by Mohammed Abdulrahman and Senator Samuel Anyanwu remains the only legally recognised National Working Committee of the PDP, pending the conduct of a valid national convention.
The judgment represents the latest development in the long-running leadership crisis that has continued to unsettle the opposition party.
