A Federal High Court sitting in Abuja has directed the People’s Democratic Party to go ahead with it’s planned Ward, LG and State congresses in Rivers State.
Justice Peter Lifu in his ruling on Tuesday, prevented the Department of State Service (DSS), Police, Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), and others from interfering with the party’s congresses in Rivers State.
Justice Lifu directed the PDP and its officials to follow their guidelines and schedules and barred them from allowing ineligible individuals to run for positions.
