The Academic Staff Union of Universities has again extended it’s six-month-old strike.
The union disclosed this after its National Executive Council meeting at the University of Abuja on Monday morning.
ASUU had declared the commencement of a strike on Monday, February 14, 2022, at the University of Lagos.
ASUU, is seeking improved welfare, the revitalisation of public universities, and academic autonomy among others.
Several meetings between the Federal Government and ASUU have ended in deadlock.
