The All Progressives Congress (APC) has announced plans to formally receive Governor Siminalayi Fubara into the party in Rivers State.
National Secretary of the APC, Ajibola Bashiru, disclosed this in a statement on Thursday, saying that the party’s leadership, along with the Progressive Governors Forum, will be in Port Harcourt to officially welcome the governor.
Bashiru also clarified why Fubara was absent from the Governor’s Forum on Wednesday, explaining that the meeting coincided with the governor’s birthday.
The APC’s visit is seen as a major step in strengthening the party’s structure and presence in the state ahead of upcoming political activities.
