The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ward 4, Bonny Local Government Area of Rivers State, has suspended a party member, Fubara Dagogo, over allegations of gross misconduct and anti-party activities.
The decision was reached during an executive committee (Exco) meeting held on March 16, 2026, where ward leaders resolved to take disciplinary action against Dagogo.
Chairman of Ward 4 in Bonny, Richard Ibani, announced the suspension, stating that it followed a review of the member’s conduct, which the ward executives described as detrimental to the party’s image and unity.
According to the communiqué issued after the meeting, the suspension was based on several infractions, including an alleged breach of the APC constitution, engagement in anti-party activities, and conduct capable of bringing the party into disrepute.
The ward also accused Dagogo of flouting party rules, disobeying lawful directives, making what it described as “unguarded statements,” and demeaning party leaders both within and outside Rivers State.
The offences, the communiqué noted, contravene Article 21.2 (i), (ii), and (vii) of the 2022 amended constitution of the APC.
The ward executives confirmed that notice of the suspension has been formally communicated to the Bonny Local Government Area APC leadership, with copies also forwarded to the Rivers State chapter of the party for further necessary action.
