Former Attorney General of Rivers State and Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, Barr, Worgu Boms has allegedly been removed as a member of the party’s National Convention Sub-Committee.
A member of the party, Tamunokoro Georgewill claimed that a chieftain of the party, Chizi Enyi Esq made this known in a statement, yesterday.
Chizi, noted that he had written to the party informing them that Senator, Magnus Abe and his supporters are not members of the party.
According to him, the National Leadership of the party finally agreed with him and had to remove Worgu Boms name from the list.
Meanwhile, efforts to reach Barr, Worgu Boms to react to Chizi Enyi’s claim proved abortive.
His statements reads.
The All Progressive Congress have agreed with Barr. Chizy Enyi Esq on his letter dated and received on the 14th of May, 2021 that Senator Magnus Abe and his few supporters including Worgu Boms, are not members of APC in Rivers State.
Let me use this opportunity to thank the National Leadership for agreeing with me by removing the name of Worgu Boms as a member of the APC National Convention Sub-Committee.
It is now obvious and evident, that the conspiracy theory of Senator Abe, Worgu Boms and few others to rubbish APC in Rivers State will no longer see the light of the day.
