The Accord Party’s screening committee has cleared Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, to contest in the party’s governorship primary taking place on Wednesday in Osogbo.
The chairman of the screening committee and National Organising Secretary of the party, Ibe Thankgod, announced the development in a statement. He said Adeleke fulfilled all requirements for nomination and was confirmed as the party’s sole aspirant for the governorship ticket.
Thankgod also described the governor as a “worthy gubernatorial aspirant” of the Accord Party.
Adeleke received his certificate of clearance from the committee chairman and declared that he was fully prepared for the election, expressing confidence in his victory.
