A final year student of the University of Port Harcourt identified as Collins – who reportedly killed his girlfriend Miss Justina Nkang for money rituals demanded the sum of two million naira from her parents for her release.
A family source who spoke to us said the boy demanded the money two days before the news of her death, suggesting that he had already killed her before asking for the ransom.
He said the girl’s mom was contacted by the suspect to pay the said sum for the release of her daughter.
According to him, the mom was yet to receive the news of her daughter’s demise as her phone has been collected from her to prevent her from getting the information online.
