Hon. David Rogers Irimagha, the Executive Chairman of Bonny Local Government Area of Rivers State, is dead.
Samuel Nwanosike, the Executive Chairman of Ikwerre Local Government Area of Rivers State, made this known via his social media handle, Today.
Nwanosike stated thus: ““It is with profound sadness and deep sorrow that i learned of the recent demise of Hon. David Rogers Irimagha, the Executive Chairman of Bonny Local Government area. In this hour of grief, my family and the people of Ikwerre LGA join me in extending our sincere condolence and heartfelt sympathy to his family.”
Recall that earlier in the year, Honourable Irimagha had launched investigations regarding strange deaths of persons in Bonny. These individuals were said to have exhibited Covid-19 related symptoms.
The cause of the Chairman’s death is yet to be determined.
