The Executive Chairman of Bonny LGA, David Rogers Irimagha has said that he is working with the Police to ensure the release of those that were abducted by heavily armed gunmen during a burial ceremony in the LGA over the weekend.
Irimagha in an interview yesterday, appealed for calm amongst Bonny residents as he assured that the Police is on top of the situation to bring the perpetrators to book.
Heavily armed gunmen had attacked and disrupted a burial ceremony in Bonny, that had the council boss and other leaders of the area in attendance over the weekend.
