The Chairman of Bonny Local Government Area, Hon. Abinye Blessing Pepple, will today, Wednesday, October 8, 2025, swear in the newly confirmed Supervisor-designates of the Council.
According to a statement signed by the Chief Press Secretary, Amb. Wisdom Chapp-Jumbo, ANIPR, the ceremony will take place at the Government Lodge, Bonny, by 3:00 p.m.
Those to be sworn in include Achusi Austin Pepple, Sir Hayford Banigo, Tamunobarabinye R. Jumbo, Engr. Godwin Hart, and Sofiri Bennett Pepple.
The Supervisor-designates, who were screened and confirmed by the Bonny Local Government Legislative Council on Tuesday, October 7, 2025, are expected to be seated before 2:30 p.m. and are each allowed to come with only one guest.
