The Bonny Local Government Council has successfully concluded the disbursement of over 25 million naira to more than 500 persons to support small business owners in Bonny and some persons in need.
Boma Waribor, Chief Press Secretary, Bonny Local Government Council disclosed this in a statement on Wednesday.
According to him, the non-refundable grant is part of the Chairman’s strategic move to complement the strength of small businesses in Bonny in view of the bitting socio-economic challenges being experienced in the country, towards improving the economic well-being of the people.
