Two officials of the Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS) have been suspended over bribery allegations involving popular cross dresser, Idris Okuneye, also known as Bobrisky.
Ja’afaru Ahmed, the secretary to Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB), disclosed this in a statement on Thursday.
The officers suspended over the bribery allegations are Michael Anugwa, deputy controller of corrections in charge of Medium Security Custodial Centre (MSCC), Kiri-kiri, Lagos state, and Sikiru Adekunle, deputy controller of corrections in charge of Maximum Security Custodial Centre (MSCC), Kiri-kiri, Lagos state
Recall that social media activist, VeryDarkMan had released a recording of Bobrisky claiming to have paid N15M to some EFCC officials to drop his money laundering case.
