A boat passenger identified as Ebiwari Whyte has cautioned boat drivers to be careful while driving. That, was after a boat accident which claimed the life of a yet-to-be identified man.
The incident, occurred along the Bakana waterway, Today.
Whyte who witnessed the incident, said the man was on his way to Port Harcourt after attending the burial of his grandmother.
According to her, the boat capsized after it was forcefully overtaken by another boat ferrying passengers to Port Harcourt.
She said other passengers in the capsized boat were rescued after the driver raised an alarm, but the deceased was confirmed dead when he was rushed to a nearby hospital.
She noted that his corpse has been deposited in a morgue.
